Financial reports now follow the operating ledger
HQ Financials now compares closed game-day periods, follows the same profit calculation as corporate tax, and gives land, buildings, inventory, and obligations a more reliable book view.
The Financials tab has been rebuilt around the corporation's actual operating ledger:
- Compare the latest 7 or 30 completed game days with the immediately preceding period instead of comparing cumulative lifetime snapshots. Historical day boundaries stay fixed when the game clock changes speed. - Revenue, realized inventory cost, payroll, rent, non-corporate taxes, freight, maintenance, interest, and other operating lines now use the same profit calculation that drives weekly corporate-income tax. - Grants and awards appear separately as non-income funding. Loans, capital contributions, escrow movements, and internal transfers no longer masquerade as profit. - The balance sheet now includes owned land, installed production lines, and construction in progress. Building value follows materials actually consumed during construction plus recorded external builder charges, or the recorded purchase price for an acquired business, rather than later inventory deliveries or a former owner's historical build cost. - Inventory without a recorded cost basis is disclosed instead of being valued from a current market quote, and defaulted unpaid obligations remain visible until settled. If a realized sale is missing its cost basis, the profit result is explicitly marked provisional and the affected revenue is quantified. - Building totals are explicitly labelled as gross basis because the exact historical depreciation charge is not yet stored separately. That limitation—and installed equipment without a persisted asset basis—is disclosed instead of being filled with an invented estimate.
The redesigned statement uses the corporation's local currency, keeps foreign wallets separate, and adapts from compact phone cards to a comparison table on larger screens.
