Post an open seat, and apply for one

UI

A Recruiting board on the Boards page: corporations looking for officers, parties looking for co-founders, and players offering to mentor. Apply with one click; the owner confirms and an ordinary invitation follows.

Boards now has a Recruiting tab. It carries three kinds of open seat: a corporation looking for an officer, a party looking for co-founders, and a player offering to mentor someone.

Applying is one button. There is no cover letter and no message box — what an owner learns about you is what your player profile already shows. The owner reviews the applications on their own listing and confirms one.

Confirming does not seat anyone. It sends the ordinary invitation, exactly as if the owner had typed your name in themselves, and you still have to accept it. Every rule about who may be invited applies unchanged: only an owner can offer an officer seat, only a founder can offer a party seat, and if either of you has blocked the other, the application cannot be made at all.

A mentorship listing carries no in-game authority whatsoever. Confirming one grants nothing — it is an introduction, not a role.

Listings say roughly when the person is around, using the same broad eight-hour UTC blocks as the contact cards in your account settings, and nothing narrower is ever stored. A listing can be marked newcomer friendly, and every listing expires on its own.
