Suggested values you can see the reasoning for
The guided first business now lets you change the opening quantity and shows where the suggestion comes from. Pro automation rules get a suggested reorder point and repair threshold, each with its assumptions spelled out.
A suggestion is only useful if you can see why it was made, and change it.
Guided first business
- The opening quantity is now a field you can edit, not a fixed readout. For a producer, 1 means one batch of the chosen recipe, and the line under the field says how much a batch makes and how long a cycle takes. For a service or a single product it means one unit. - A Suggested chip puts the default back.
Pro automation rules (Auto-supply and Auto-repair on a business)
- The Auto-supply rule suggests a reorder point from what your lines actually consume per day and how long a delivery takes to arrive, and never more than your storage can hold. If the business does not consume the resource, or no route exists, it says so instead of guessing a number. - The Auto-repair rule suggests the repair threshold the free Basic Manager already repairs at, so the two tiers never disagree about when a repair is worth the money.
