Automation rules can choose a delivery mode
Auto-supply, auto-sell and auto-transfer rules now take a delivery mode beside the carrier: cheapest, road only, air preferred, sea preferred or fastest. Every run's quote and booking follows it, and the estimate in the form shows what that mode costs and how long it travels.
A rule could name a carrier but not a way of travel, so a rule that needed speed could only hope the cheapest route was fast. Both automation forms now carry a Delivery mode:
- Cheapest takes the lowest fare, as before. It stays the default, and every existing rule keeps it. - Road only, Air preferred, Sea preferred and Fastest prefer or force a way of travel, exactly like the route picker on a manual shipment. - The freight estimate in the form re-quotes for the chosen mode, with its cost and its game hours, so a slow mode is visible before you save. - The rule's mode shows beside it on the business page whenever it is not the default.
