Each discovery takes 15 staffed game days and reveals its factories, recipe and retail outlets. The first discovery in a world appears on the newswire.

The Technology IP market lets discoverers offer permanent licenses with an upfront fee, a sales royalty and an optional minimum sale price. Licensed goods keep the seller’s brand and quality. Royalties apply to the licensee’s sales; the minimum price follows later resales.

After discovering the same technology yourself, you can cancel the license and begin new production under your own brand and quality. Existing licensed goods retain their terms.
