Each active program shows progress through its current experiment and the projected chance of a breakthrough. Failed experiments preserve knowledge and improve later odds. Small teams may need days or months of real time; the progress bar measures the experiment, not a guaranteed discovery date.
After a breakthrough, the same program automatically continues as product-quality research with its assigned team. You can pause or cancel it. Completed discoveries and existing research effort remain intact.
