Employee programme supplies hold still until the next cycle
A running or paused employee programme now sizes each day's supplies from the headcount counted at its last funded cycle, so the list you supply no longer grows while deliveries are on the way. Hires, departures and new businesses apply from the following cycle.
Ongoing employee programmes — Employee Household Support, Staff Refreshments, the Workwear Programme and the others — consume a day of supplies and an operating fee at each funded cycle, sized to the people they cover.
That daily list used to follow your live headcount every time you looked at it. In a growing company it rose a little every few hours, so a paused programme's shortfall kept coming back: a shipment ordered against the list arrived short of a list that had moved on, and the programme stayed paused.
Each cycle is now sized from the headcount counted when the previous cycle was funded. The daily list, the seven-day supply target and the operating cost on the programme card are exactly what the next cycle consumes and charges, and goods on hand or in transit count toward exactly that. Once a paused programme's supplies have arrived, it resumes on the next world update.
Every funded cycle then recounts your employees and covered businesses for the cycle after it, so hires, departures and newly acquired businesses take effect one cycle later than before. A business you sell or close leaves the programme at once.
This replaces the earlier note that a running programme's daily supplies follow your current headcount.
