More land for rent
Cities now keep at least six rental plots on the market for each kind of building, opening new municipal land when free plots run out. When you start a new building, the site step shows only plots that fit its blueprint.
Every city now keeps at least six municipal rental plots on the market for each kind of building — for example, factories that need I-1 land — instead of only two. When a lease is signed, a replacement plot is listed right away.
- Cities grow: listings come from the city's unused municipal land first. When none with the right zoning and size is left, the city opens new plots sized for that kind of building.
- Choosing a site: when you start a new building, the site step now shows only plots whose zoning and size fit that blueprint.
- Unchanged: rents, sign-on fees and lease terms are priced the same way as before.
