Auto-repair now fixes a line before it starts the next run
Your repair threshold is finally honoured. A worn line is serviced the moment it falls idle instead of running until it breaks, so repairs cost less and cost you less downtime.
Auto-repair could not actually honour a threshold below 100%.
A line picked up its next run the instant the previous one finished, so it was almost never idle — and a line that is working cannot be serviced. The only opening came when it hit 100% wear and broke. Setting "repair at 10%" quietly meant "repair when it breaks", which is the most expensive moment there is.
- Repaired before the next run, not after it breaks. When a line falls idle and is at or over your threshold, it is serviced first and then goes back to work. - Cheaper and quicker. Servicing at 80% wear rather than 100% is roughly a quarter cheaper and noticeably shorter — and a worn line produces far less while it waits. - Straight back to work. A line resumes its queue as soon as the repair finishes, whether the repair was automatic or one you started yourself. - Never at the cost of production. If a repair cannot go ahead — short on funds, over your per-cycle budget, or no provider covers that equipment — the line takes its run as before and the reason appears on the automation card instead of failing silently.
