The Newswire now reports rare milestones
Founding your third corporation, taking a board seat, backing a party with a business you run — the rare ones now make the Newswire, under a new Milestones filter. Login streaks deliberately never do.
Some things you do are genuinely hard, and until now nobody else ever heard about them. The Newswire has a new Milestones category for the rare ones.
- Only rare crossings run. A milestone is reported when you are among the first players in the world to reach it — every rank, every tier, no exceptions. As the world grows, the bar effectively rises, so a milestone story stays worth reading instead of becoming background noise. Every story says where you placed, and it is always true. - At most three a day. A hard ceiling per game day, and the rarest crossings get the slots first. - Each one runs once, ever. A milestone cannot be reported twice, however the world is replayed. - Nothing retroactive. Milestones already reached before today are recorded quietly and never announced. They are not news, and a feed full of old achievements would bury the actual news. - Your login streak is never reported, and that is on purpose. Announcing "reached a 30-day streak" on the day it happens would publish, permanently and publicly, exactly which days you were online. Your profile keeps showing streaks as a coarse tier; the Newswire never touches them.
Stories are told about the corporation, link straight to it, and can be followed like any other Newswire subject.
