Start your first business over, once
If your very first project is still in planning, you can now take the whole opening back one time: the project is cancelled, your Business Licence comes back unspent, the builder's deposit is refunded, and a municipal land lease ends with the money you paid to sign it returned.
Your first build commits a Business Licence, cash, and often a land lease in a single click — before you have had a chance to learn what any of them are worth. Every player now gets one chance to take that back.
Open your first business path and, while the project is still in planning, you will find a Start over card at the bottom of the page. It shows exactly what returns before you commit to anything:
- Your Business Licence, unspent, with the expiry it already had - The builder's deposit, if you hired one and work has not started - What you paid to sign a municipal land lease, with the plot going back on the market
It is deliberately narrow. Once building materials have arrived, a shipment is on its way, or the builder has broken ground, that money has left for good and the reset is refused rather than half-honoured. A lease rented from another company is their contract and stays yours to keep. And it is genuinely once — there is no second reset, on this corporation or any other.
