A two-minute briefing when you sign in
Your companies list now opens with a briefing for the company you were last in: the one thing to do next, what changed, what is due, and who you dealt with. Come back after a few days away and it starts with a summary of the gap.
The dashboard used to open with a list. Now it opens with an answer.
The briefing covers the company shown in your header, and it names that company so a portfolio never reads as one report. It has five parts:
- Do this next — the same single action the Today panel leads with, never a second opinion.
- Needs you now — anything urgent that is still open.
- What changed — cash movement and profit for the window, plus what was sent to you.
- What happens next — construction, shipments, permits and elections that are due, with the game-time and real-time wait side by side.
- Who you dealt with — deals done with other players' companies.
Come back after three days or more and a welcome-back summary appears first, built from the gap itself rather than from whenever you last loaded a page.
One thing is deliberate and worth knowing. When we cannot answer a question, the briefing says so instead of showing you a zero. "Nothing happened", "we could not work this out" and "that is not part of your role" are three different sentences here, and you will never see the first one when we mean one of the others.
