Weekly leagues become cohort heats — everyone starts from the same line

Competition Grants

A league no longer starts on a fixed calendar day. Entrants gather, the heat starts once, and every competitor's baseline is taken at that same moment — so joining late no longer means competing over a shorter week, and ties never reward whoever clicked first.

Leagues used to run Monday to Monday. If you joined on Saturday you were scored over two days against someone scored over seven, and when two players finished level the one who had joined earlier took the higher place. Both of those are gone.

A league is now a heat. You join while it is gathering entrants — your corporation is queued, and nothing is measured yet. Once the heat starts, every entrant's starting figures are captured at the same instant and the heat runs for seven days from there. Everyone competes over the same window, from their own starting point.

- Gathering: a heat starts about two days after its first entrant queues, as soon as the previous heat in that lane has finished. The board tells you the day it can start. - No late entry: once a heat starts, nobody joins it — the next heat is already gathering, and the game points you straight at it. - Ties: equal scores are separated by a fixed draw, not by who entered first. - Everything else is unchanged: one entry per player account across your corporations, podium licences, and no grant slot consumed.

This change is live in the game right now.
